About this place
In Meguro's Aobadai neighborhood, BAR Bottle has built a following around its chili tomato tsukemen. The dipping broth carries concentrated savory depth with a lively punch of heat, leading many diners to polish off the bowl in one sitting. Once the noodles are gone, adding rice to the leftover soup turns it into a comforting, risotto-style finish.
The noodle selection also features soup-less and brothed variations of tomato tantanmen, letting guests tailor the bowl to their appetite. For broader dinner options, the Bottle Teishoku menu pairs rice and sides with mains such as pan-fried gyoza, chicken karaage, mapo tofu, or the day's grilled fish, making it an easy place to stop for dinner even without ordering an alcoholic drink.
A laid-back bar counter sits within the dining space, pouring highballs, cocktails, and wine alongside small plates. Open until 2:00 the following morning from Monday to Saturday, it works equally well for a quiet solo drink at the counter or a substantial late-night meal.
